Evan Vincent, age 17, enters his junior year at Maranacook High School in Readfield, Maine this fall.

He qualified for the Junior Nationals at some indoor meets during the winter, and made the US Junior National team in Eugene, OR at a meet in June.  At publication time, he is competing in a 10K race in Minneapolis with the US Junior National team against the Canadian Nation team.

His mother, Sarah Vincent comments, "Evan was lucky enough to meet up with Tom last summer and start working out with him and that has made all the difference in his racewalking. He helped guide Evan to the class B state championship this year. Tom has been a wonderful coach for Evan... a great guy and has helped Evan immensely."
